The Wilson was high and off color on Saturday last weekend, but dropped into shape later in the weekend and fishing was fair. If the forecast is correct the Wilson should fish well all week, and there should be fish coming in. There are fish available throughout the system and we’re seeing moderate numbers of fish caught consistently. This is a great time of year to fish the Wilson, as there are early run hatchery fish still around, as well as broodstock hatchery fish starting to show up. Float fishing jigs, beads, or bait, drift fishing, nymphing, and swinging flies or spinners are all good techniques.
