The North Fork Coquille River has been fishable this week. The South Fork Coquille River is coming into fishing shape. Drift boat anglers wanting to fish the South Fork should be able to float the river by this weekend. ‌

As the water levels drop, the North Fork Coquille River will become fishable first followed by the South Fork Coquille. Steelhead anglers were catching hatchery winter steelhead on the North Fork Coquille River at LaVerne Park and on the South Fork Coquille River from the town of Powers downstream. ‌

Trout fishing in closed in the rivers until May 22, 2024.
