An extra batch of rainbow trout were recently stocked. Trout fishing has been fair to good at Hyatt. Nightcrawlers produced more fish than did spoons being cast from shore. Fishing for largemouth bass is improving as the water warms.

The reservoir is 60 percent full. The Mountain View boat ramp is open. Anglers should note that the parking are near the dam has been closed by the Bureau of Reclamation this season as the agency begins repairs on the dam.
