Access and Habitat Board meets Oct. 16-17 in La Grande

On Monday, Oct. 16, board members will go on a field tour of existing A and H projects in the area. Meet in the lobby of the Sandman Inn no later no later than 8 a.m. to join the tour and be prepared to provide your own transportation and lunch.

The A and H board meeting begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at the Blue Mountain Conference Center (404 12th Street, La Grande) and is open to the public. The agenda is available online and includes reports from board members and ODFW staff and review of several projects.

A teleconference line is available for members of the public who wish to participate in the Tuesday meeting, but who cannot attend in person. To listen in, call 1-877-336-1831, and enter passcode 804246.

The A and H Program funds projects that provide hunter access and/or improve wildlife habitat on private land in Oregon. The A and H Program is funded primarily by a $4 surcharge on hunting licenses and big game auction and raffle tag sales.
