Commission meets via Skype on Friday April 17

SALEM, Ore.—The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission will meet via Skype call on Friday, April 17 from 9 a.m.-noon PT for their monthly meeting. See the agenda at https://www.dfw.state.or.us/agency/commission/minutes/20/04_Apr/index.asp

Members of the public will be able to watch a livestream of the meeting on ODFW’s YouTube Channel, https://youtube.com/ieodfw

No rule-making is planned, but commissioners will be briefed on a variety of issues during the Skype call including:

  • 2020 Salmon Forecasts  
  • Cold water refuges, including potential thermal angling sanctuaries on the Columbia River (which was topic of public meeting in March)
  • 2019 Annual Wolf Report

Staff presentations on these issues on the agenda should be posted by Wednesday of next week (April 15) on the Commission webpage.

No public comment will be taken during Friday’s meeting, but people may send a comment to commissioners by emailing [email protected]
