The North Fork was high and off color on Tuesday, but should fish later this week and through the weekend. The hatchery run is definitely winding down, but there are some nice wild fish showing up (catch and release only for wilds).

The mainstem Nehalem is high and off color. It may not drop into shape this week, although the upper basin might fish by early next week depending on how much more rain we get. There are no hatchery releases in the main stem, so it is mostly catch-and-release fishing for wild steelhead.
