When the river has been in shape the fishing has been decent on the Siletz but the high water has been making it tough to fish each week. The river will be dropping into shape later this week and into the weekend, and the conditions will be good as we head into March. Mid-February to mid-March is typically the peak for Siletz steelheading.

The 4.0 mile bridge (aka Steel Bridge) in the Siletz gorge is open to motorized vehicles on the weekends only. Anglers can walk/bike in the road during the weekdays. There is a parking area located at the 1-mile gate where anglers can walk/bike upstream from there.
