Following a heavenly night at anchor in a protected lee we forged ahead with the plan to target coastal yellows and variety in the morning before resuming the bluefin search offshore. Finding incredible life and some fair action yet another zone offers promise when conditions improve. On the offshore grounds once again finding fish was not the issue. Scattered small spots were found consistently across twenty miles of water well above the zone we worked on Wednesday. The final verdict? There are plenty of bluefin around. Enough to make a huge showing when, if, they rise to the occasion. Though our RSW tanks hosted none I'm far from discouraged about prospects this season. The obvious question is when the change will come. The only way we'll know is to be there trying. And we will. Captain Brian Sims grabs the helm tomorrow on the next three day run. Look for reports to continue. Enjoy another shot from the grounds today. The Fathometer tells all...

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
