Grande Ronde River Fish Report 10-28-07

Grande Ronde River - Colville, OR

by The Fly Fishers Place

Recent rains have really helped the Steelhead fishing here.  Fish are moving up the Ronde now and have been picked up with more regularity than even a week ago.  It's worth the trip out east.  Fishing here is really water flow dependant.  Look for the best chances after a rain, when the river is dropping back into shape. On sunny, warmer days, try skating flies -- it's a blast.

FLIES:  Standard steelie flies.  Deschutes flies work well here.
