It's actually time to begin anticipating early hatchery Winter-run Steelhead in the Quillayute system. If the Puget Sound trib summer of nearly NO steelhead has got you down a bit, look ahead to a two or three day window just after Thanksgiving and see what compensation the Steelhead Gods have in their anadromous hearts to give.

On the Hood Canal scene, yes, the Chums are here for those willing to do battle for some big pulls. See our Puget Sound report for the promise of any conceivable elbow-room.
